Buhoma Community Rest Camp

The Buhoma Community Rest Camp is located in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Buhoma. Set inside the Bwindi forest, this pleasant and well kept complex provides accommodation and a restaurant which overlooks the forest canopy. We have a well stocked bar just for your relaxing stay while in Bwindi. Buhoma Community Rest Camp is an excellent base for Gorilla trekking. The accommodation is just before the entrance of Bwindi National Park and occasionally the Gorillas visit the camp!
At the Buhoma community Rest Camp accommodation is provided in clean well maintained bandas, self-contained safari tents mounted on platforms that look into the Bwindi forest. All the accommodation has solar electric lighting installed as well as hot water showers. Five of the bandas have shared washing/toilet facilities whilst one unit is self-contained. There are several leveled terraces for those with their own equipment to camp. Cold beers and sodas are available with local produce used to provide visitors meals.
